Laroma Therapies Working With Carers Support West Sussex
Helping Carers Look After Themselves
Laroma Therapies is teaming up with ‘Carers Support’ to bring treatments to carers who look after people suffering with mental health right through to people with drug and alcohol problems.
Carers Support in West Sussex helps carers within many communities by providing practical information, guidance and emotional support. They believe it’s so important to have support if you yourself are a carer because for many people it’s no easy job. Their workers offer help by providing information and support in caring for people who suffer with mental health, learning difficulties, Autism/Asperger syndrome, drugs and alcohol problems, dementia carers, young adult carers and parent carers. They can provide emotional support through counselling sessions or a telephone call back service. They also arrange activities and events where workshops and open meetings take place, giving people the opportunity to have their say. There’s also a learning and wellbeing programme which aims to help carers look after their own health and wellbeing. They offer a lot more and all their services are free and confidential.
Laroma is teaming up with them and they will refer carers to us for treatment and therapy. The initial session is discounted and will enable carers to hopefully see the benefits in treatment. As everyone does know, at Laroma we do care for anyone and believe everyone should look after themselves physically and mentally. Hopefully through teaming up with Carers Support it will help many wonderful people out their caring for someone look after themselves and put themselves first again.
